Benjamin Sumner Welles (New York, 14 ottobre 1892 – Bernardsville, 24 settembre 1961) fu un funzionario del Servizio diplomatico statunitense. Fu Sottosegretario di Stato presso il Dipartimento di Stato degli Stati Uniti dal 1937 al 1943 ed uno dei più ascoltati consiglieri di politica estera del presidente Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
