Sigebert I was the king of Austrasia from 634 to his death in 656. He was the son of Dagobert I and Chimnechild of Burgundy. His reign was marked by the continued struggles of his half-brothers Clotaire II and Theuderic II against their father's mayor of the palace, Ebroin. This led to the Austrasian nobles' revolt of 656, which was suppressed by Ebroin.
