Primo Carnera (Sequals, 25 ottobre 1906 – Sequals, 29 giugno 1967) è stato un pugile, lottatore e attore italiano naturalizzato statunitense nel 1953. Cresciuto in un contesto di povertà, si avvicinò al pugilato in Francia dove era stato costretto a emigrare. Raggiunse la celebrità negli Stati Uniti, dove si era trasferito nel 1929. Soprannominato "La montagna che cammina" per la sua imponente stazza, fu il primo italiano a conquistare un titolo mondiale di pugilato quando, il 29 giugno 1933, detronizzò Jack Sharkey per la corona iridata dei pesi massimi.
