Murad V (مراد خامس in turco ottomano; Beşiktaş, 21 settembre 1840 – Palazzo di Çırağan, 29 agosto 1904) fu sultano dell'Impero ottomano dal 30 maggio 1876 al 31 agosto dello stesso anno. Figlio di Abdülmecid I, supportò la conversione del governo in una monarchia costituzionale. Suo zio, Abdülaziz, aveva ereditato il trono e aveva imposto suo figlio come erede al trono, costringendo così Murad a partecipare alla detronizzazione di suo zio. Tuttavia, la sua fragilità fisica e la malattia mentale resero il suo regno instabile e Murad V fu deposto in favore del suo fratellastro Abdül Hamid II dopo appena 93 giorni.
