Matteo Paris, detto anche Matteo da Parigi (in inglese Matthew Paris; Hildersham, 1200 – St Albans, 1259), fu un monaco benedettino inglese, cronista della storia inglese. Fu anche un miniaturista e cartografo e risiedette presso l'Abbazia di St Albans, nell'Hertfordshire. Scrisse numerose opere, in gran parte storiche, che illustrò egli stesso con miniature, in parte colorate con colori ad acqua.
