Hồ Chí Minh, pseudonimo di Nguyễn Sinh Cung (Kim Liên, 19 maggio 1890 – Hanoi, 2 settembre 1969), è stato un rivoluzionario, politico e patriota vietnamita, Primo ministro del Paese dal 1945 al 1955 e suo presidente dal 1955 al 1969. Fondatore nel 1941 del movimento Viet Minh ("Lega per l'indipendenza del Vietnam"), nel 1945 traghettò il paese verso l'indipendenza, venendo acclamato presidente della Repubblica Democratica del Vietnam.
