Ermocrate, figlio di Ermone (in greco antico: Ἑρμοκράτης?, Hermokrátes; Siracusa, seconda metà del V secolo a.C. – Siracusa, 407 a.C.), è stato un politico e militare siceliota. Eletto strategos di Siracusa greca durante la spedizione ateniese in Sicilia, è considerato un personaggio di primo piano anche nel contesto precedente; egli fu autore di un celebre discorso avvenuto durante il congresso di Gela, tramandatoci grazie allo storico greco Tucidide, il cui obiettivo fu il richiamo all'unità siceliota per contrastare i nemici ateniesi. Determinante fu la sua strategia negli anni dell'assedio attico alla polis di Siracusa.
