Gotye, pseudonimo di Wouter De Backer, detto Wally (Bruges, 21 maggio 1980), è un cantautore e polistrumentista belga naturalizzato australiano. Il suo nome d'arte Gotye deriva da Gauthier, traduzione francese di Wouter (olandese) o Walter in tedesco (Gualtiero in italiano). Fino ad oggi, come solista, ha pubblicato tre album in studio e uno di remix di brani provenienti dai suoi primi due album.
