Gerard Adams, detto Gerry (in irlandese Gearóid Mac Ádhaimh; Belfast, 6 ottobre 1948), è un politico irlandese con cittadinanza britannica. Presidente dello Sinn Féin dal 1983 al 2018, è stato deputato "astensionista" alla Camera dei comuni britannica dal 1983 al 1992 e dal 1997 al 2011, e successivamente deputato al Dáil Éireann irlandese dal 2011. Con l'introduzione dell'internamento senza processo nel 1971 (consentita dallo Special Powers Act) fu temporaneamente detenuto sulla HMS Maidstone, una nave prigione.
