David Petraeus

David Howell Petraeus (Cornwall-on-Hudson, 7 novembre 1952) è un generale ed ex agente segreto statunitense. Dal 10 febbraio 2007 al 15 settembre 2008 ha comandato l'Esercito degli Stati Uniti, in Iraq (MNF-I). Dal 31 ottobre 2008 è stato nominato Comandante dell'United States Central Command, che prevede la responsabilità strategica di tutto il teatro medio-orientale, compresa la conduzione delle operazioni militari in Iraq e Afghanistan.
