Basilio II (in greco medievale: Βασίλειος Β΄ Βουλγαροκτόνος, Basileios II Bulgaroktonos; Costantinopoli, 958 – Costantinopoli, 15 dicembre 1025) è stato un imperatore bizantino, formalmente Basileus dei Romei dal 10 gennaio 976 fino alla sua morte. Fu retrospettivamente soprannominato Bulgaroctono, ossia Massacratore di Bulgari. Il suo regno fu il più lungo di tutta la storia dell'Impero, ben 49 anni.
