Subötai (v. 1176 - 1248), parfois appelé Sobodeï est l'un des plus importants commandants de l'armée mongole sous les ordres de Gengis Khan. Né chez les Uriankhais, peuple turc de Sibérie (Iakoutes), appelé parfois « peuple des rennes », il n'est pas à proprement parler mongol.
