Steven George Gerrard, né le 30 mai 1980 à Whiston, dans la banlieue de Liverpool, en Angleterre, est un footballeur international anglais devenu entraîneur. Considéré comme l'un des meilleurs milieux de terrain de sa génération, il a évolué la quasi-totalité de sa carrière dans son club formateur de Liverpool avant de conclure son parcours au Galaxy de Los Angeles. Steven Gerrard débute à Liverpool en 1998, s'installe en équipe première et succède à Sami Hyypiä comme capitaine de l'équipe en 2003.
