Michel III (grec : Μιχαήλ Γʹ) (né le 19 janvier 840 et mort le 23 septembre 867) fut un empereur byzantin de 842 à 867. C'est le troisième et officiellement le dernier membre de la dynastie amorienne (ou phrygienne). Les surnoms d’« Ivrogne » (ὁ Μέθυσος) ou de « débauché » lui furent attribués par les historiens qui vécurent sous la dynastie macédonienne, traditionnellement hostiles.
