Jacques Chaban-Delmas, souvent surnommé « Chaban », né Jacques Delmas le 7 mars 1915 dans le 13e arrondissement de Paris et mort le 10 novembre 2000 dans le 7e arrondissement de Paris, est un résistant, général de brigade et homme d'État français. Il est Premier ministre du 20 juin 1969 au 5 juillet 1972. Considéré comme l'un des « barons du gaullisme », il est notamment maire de Bordeaux de 1947 à 1995, ministre sous la IVe République et président de l'Assemblée nationale à trois reprises entre 1958 et 1988.
