Ivan Basso est un coureur cycliste italien né le 26 novembre 1977 à Gallarate et professionnel de 1998 à 2015. Considéré comme l'un des meilleurs coureurs de courses par étapes des années 2000, il a notamment remporté les Tours d'Italie 2006 et 2010 et terminé deux fois sur le podium des Tours de France 2004 (troisième) et 2005 (deuxième).
