Hippocrate de Kos, ou simplement Hippocrate (du grec Ἱπποκράτης / Hippokrátês), né vers 460 avant J.-C. sur l’île de Kos et mort vers 377 av. J.-C. à Larissa, est un médecin et philosophe grec du siècle de Périclès, considéré traditionnellement comme le « père de la médecine ». Il a fondé l'école hippocratique qui a révolutionné intellectuellement la médecine en Grèce antique.
