Georg Leber, né le 7 octobre 1920 à Beselich et mort le 21 août 2012 à Schönau am Königssee, est un homme politique allemand membre du Parti social-démocrate d'Allemagne (SPD). À la suite de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il s'engage dans le militantisme syndical dans le BTP, puis est élu député fédéral de Hesse au Bundestag en 1957. Neuf ans plus tard, il est nommé ministre fédéral des Transports dans la grande coalition de Kurt Georg Kiesinger. Son portefeuille fusionne avec le ministère fédéral des Postes et des Télécommunications en 1969, lors de la formation de la coalition sociale-libérale par Willy Brandt, mais il doit y renoncer en 1972 pour remplacer Helmut Schmidt comme ministre fédéral de la Défense.
