Elizabeth Cotten, dite « Libba », née Nevills le 5 janvier 1893 à Carrboro (Caroline du Nord, États-Unis) et morte le 29 juin 1987 à Syracuse (État de New York, États-Unis), est une musicienne américaine, chanteuse de blues et de folk. Autrice, compositrice et interprète autodidacte, elle ne connaît pas les techniques musicales conventionnelles. Gauchère, elle utilise une guitare pour droitier à l'envers, sans inverser les cordes, jouant les mélodies avec le pouce et les basses avec les autres doigts.
