Antoine Pinay, né le 30 décembre 1891 à Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise (Rhône) et mort le 13 décembre 1994 à Saint-Chamond (Loire), est un homme d'État français. Issu d'un milieu modeste, industriel de profession, il commence sa carrière politique sous la IIIe République, à Saint-Chamond, où il est élu maire puis conseiller général. D'abord favorable au maréchal Pétain, il en devient l'un des opposants et poursuit sa carrière politique en étant l'une des figures de proue du Centre national des indépendants et paysans (CNIP).
