Rodne George Laver (Rockhampton, Queensland; 9 de agosto de 1938), más conocido como Rod Laver, es un extenista profesional australiano, considerado por muchos como, si no el mejor, el jugador más preponderante en la historia del tenis, ya que es el único hombre en ganar los cuatro títulos del Grand Slam en el mismo año en dos ocasiones (1962 y 1969), además de ganar el "Grand Slam Pro" en 1967, durante su etapa profesional en la que no podía competir en los majors, y el tercero en lograr los cuatro grandes.
