Philochorus

Filócoro (Philochorus, Philókhoros Φιλόχορος; Atenas, ca. 340 – 267/261 a. C.) fue un escritor ateniense, contemporáneo de Eratóstenes, autor de obras sobre leyendas antiguas e historias de la Antigua Grecia. Es considerado el último y principal de los atidógrafos. Sus investigaciones sobre los usos y costumbres de los antiguos habitantes del Ática quedaron recopiladas en su obra Atthis, formada por diecisiete libros, que conforma una historia de Atenas desde los tiempos remotos hasta el año 262 a.
