Jonathan Wild

Jonathan Wild (c. 1683 – 24 de mayo de 1725) fue quizás el más famoso criminal de Londres, y posiblemente de Gran Bretaña, en el siglo XVIII, tanto por sus propias acciones como por la fama que le dieron novelistas, dramaturgos y satíricos políticos. Inventó un sistema que le permitió dirigir una de las bandas criminales más exitosas de su época, que consistía en aparecer frente a la opinión pública como uno de los policías más eficaces del país.
