John Ashbery (Rochester, Nueva York; 28 de julio de 1927-Hudson, Nueva York; 3 de septiembre de 2017)​ fue un poeta, escritor, profesor universitario y periodista estadounidense, considerado el máximo exponente de la Escuela de Nueva York.
