Gilbert Walker

Gilbert Thomas Walker (14 de junio de 1868 - 4 de noviembre de 1958) fue un profesor, físico, climatólogo, meteorólogo y estadístico británico. Es conocido por su novedosa descripción de las oscilaciones en parámetros de la atmósfera entre sitios de la tierra, ayudando a entender a El Niño, un importante fenómeno oscilatorio, que concierne al clima global, y por el gran avance en el estudio de la climatología en general.
