1. Lang Ping (b. 1960)

With an HPI of 56.63, Lang Ping is the most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 23 different languages on wikipedia.

"Jenny" Lang Ping (Chinese: 郎平; pinyin: Láng Píng; born 10 December 1960) is a Chinese former volleyball player and coach. She is the former head coach of the Chinese women's national volleyball team and U.S. women's national volleyball team. As a player, Lang won the most valuable player award in women's volleyball at the 1984 Olympics. In 2002, Lang became an inductee of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She coached the U.S. women's national team to a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in her home country. Lang later coached the gold medal-winning Chinese women's national team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, becoming the first person in volleyball history, male or female, to have won Olympic gold both as a player and as a coach. Lang is the main character in the 2020 biographical film Leap, in which she is played by actress Gong Li.

2. Zhu Ting (b. 1994)

With an HPI of 46.66, Zhu Ting is the 2nd most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 23 different languages.

Zhu Ting (Chinese: 朱婷; pinyin: Zhū Tíng; born 29 November 1994) is a professional Chinese volleyball player. She is an outside hitter and former captain of the China women's national volleyball team. She currently plays for Imoco Volley Conegliano. Zhu has won several gold medals in international competitions with the Chinese national team, including at the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2015 and 2019 World Cups. Since her debut in 2011, Zhu has received 15 MVP awards at club and international level, including the MVP award of the women's volleyball tournament at the Rio Olympic Games 2016. She is one of the most decorated and successful indoor volleyball players of all time and is widely regarded as one of the best female volleyball players of her era, and one of the greatest of all time. She was the highest paid professional volleyball player in the world, male or female, as of the 2018–2019 season.

3. Feng Kun (b. 1978)

With an HPI of 45.84, Feng Kun is the 3rd most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 20 different languages.

Feng Kun (simplified Chinese: 冯坤; traditional Chinese: 馮坤; pinyin: Féng Kūn; born 28 December 1978) is a retired Chinese volleyball player. She was the setter and captain of the China women's national volleyball team. She was awarded Most Valuable Player and Best Setter at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where China won the gold medal in volleyball.

4. Yuan Xinyue (b. 1996)

Yuan Xinyue (Chinese: 袁心玥; pinyin: Yuán Xīnyuè; born 21 December 1996) is a Chinese volleyball player. She is the former captain of the China women's national volleyball team. On club level, she plays for VakıfBank S.K. At 2.03 meters, Yuan is the tallest player in the history of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Team. Her impressive height advantage allows her to have a formidable presence at the net, and she is widely considered as one of the key players in the team alongside her teammates Zhu Ting and Zhang Changning.

5. Yang Hao (b. 1980)

Yang Hao (simplified Chinese: 杨昊; traditional Chinese: 楊昊; pinyin: Yáng Hào; born 21 March 1980) is a retired Chinese female volleyball player. She was a member of the Chinese team that won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

6. Zhou Suhong (b. 1979)

Zhou Suhong (simplified Chinese: 周苏红; traditional Chinese: 周蘇紅; pinyin: Zhōu Sūhóng; born 23 April 1979 in Changzing, Huzhou, Zhejiang) is a Chinese volleyball player, who was a member of the Chinese women's national team that won the gold medal at both the World Cup and the Athens Olympic Games. She is an opposite hitter. She is married to former Chinese men's national volleyball team member Tang Miao. She wears uniform number 7. Her hobbies include music and reading and Zhou is currently studying at Zhejiang University.

7. Xu Yunli (b. 1987)

Xu Yunli (simplified Chinese: 徐云丽; traditional Chinese: 徐雲麗; pinyin: Xú Yúnlì; born 2 August 1987) is a Chinese volleyball player. She was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2006 Asian Games and the silver medal winning team at the 2007 World Grand Prix.

8. Wang Yimei (b. 1988)

With an HPI of 39.30, Wang Yimei is the 8th most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 16 different languages.

Wang Yimei (Chinese: 王一梅; pinyin: Wáng Yīméi; born 11 January 1988 in Dalian, Liaoning) is a retired Chinese volleyball player. She lives in Liaoning Province. She played her first match for China women's national volleyball team in 2005 and has represented the national side at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, where she was the second leading scorer behind American player Logan Tom, with China winning the bronze medal. She has also represented China at the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

9. Wei Qiuyue (b. 1988)

With an HPI of 38.60, Wei Qiuyue is the 9th most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 17 different languages.

Wei Qiuyue (Chinese: 魏秋月; pinyin: Wèi Qiūyuè; born 26 September 1988) is a retired Chinese volleyball player. She was the captain of China women's national volleyball team from 2008 to 2012.

10. Hui Ruoqi (b. 1991)

Hui Ruoqi (Chinese: 惠若琪; born 4 March 1991) is a Chinese former volleyball player. She was an outside hitter and the fifteenth captain of China women's national volleyball team, and played for Jiangsu. She retired in 2018.
