Arati Gupta (born Arati Saha; 24 September 1940 – 23 August 1994) was an Indian long-distance swimmer who became the first Asian woman to swim across the English Channel on 29 September 1959, at the age of 19. In 1960, she became the first Indian sportswoman to be awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor in India.

Sajan Prakash (born 14 September 1993) is an Indian swimmer who specialises in freestyle, butterfly and medley events. He represented India at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the 200 m butterfly event. He is the Indian national record holder in 200 m butterfly event with a time of 1:56.38. Sajan is currently training with Aqua Nation Sports Academy based in Dubai.

Atuhaire Ogola Ambala (born 26 April 2001) is a Ugandan swimmer. He represented Uganda at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. He competed in the men's 50 metre freestyle and men's 100 metre freestyle events. He also competed in the 4 × 100 metre mixed freestyle relay event. In 2018, he competed in several events at the African Swimming Championships held in Algiers, Algeria. In 2019, he competed in the men's 100 metre butterfly event at the African Games held in Rabat, Morocco. He represented Uganda at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 100 metre freestyle event.
