Petra Vlhová (born 13 June 1995) is a Slovak World Cup alpine ski racer who specialises in the technical events of slalom and giant slalom. Vlhová won the World Cup overall title in 2021 and the gold medal in the 2022 Winter Olympics in the slalom event, becoming the first Slovak skier to achieve these feats.

Gabriela Svobodová (born Sekajová on 27 February 1953) is a Slovak-Czech former cross-country skier who competed for Czechoslovakia during the 1970s until 1984. She won a silver medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and a bronze medal in the same event at the 1974 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Svobodová is the mother of Gabriela Soukalová, a biathlete competing for the Czech national team.

Veronika Velez-Zuzulová (née Zuzulová; born 15 July 1984) is a retired Slovak alpine ski racer. Born in Bratislava, she specialised in the slalom and was the most successful Slovak alpine skier before Petra Vlhová. She was coached by her father Timotej Zuzula and Vladimír Kovár. In April 2012, she married coach Romain Velez and added her maiden name to her married name becoming Velez-Zuzulová. Velez-Zuzulová started skiing at age 3; at 14 she won the Trofeo Topolino in Italy, an unofficial children's world championship.

5. Henrieta Farkašová (b. 1986)

Henrieta Farkašová (born 3 May 1986) is a retired Slovak alpine skier, eleven-time Paralympic champion and seventeen-time world champion in the B3 (classification) category.

Alena Procházková (born 9 August 1984) is a Slovak cross-country skier who has competed since 2002. Competing in four Winter Olympics, she earned her best finish of 18th in the individual sprint event at Vancouver in 2010. Procházková's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was sixth place in the individual sprint in 2011. Her lone World Cup victory was during the test event at Whistler Olympic Park in Canada which was a test event for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

7. Natália Šubrtová (b. 1989)

Natália Šubrtová (born 1 May 1989 in Kežmarok) is a retired Slovak alpine skier, sighted guide and eleven-time Paralympic Champion. As the sighted guide for Henrieta Farkašová, she has won three gold at the 2010 Winter Paralympics, at Whistler Creekside in the women's giant slalom, women's super combined, women's super-G, visually impaired and a silver medal in Women's downhill, visually impaired. In the 2011 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine Skiing World Championships in Sestriere, Italy, January 2011 taking gold in the women's Visually Impaired event were the familiar pair from Slovakia, Henrieta Farkasova with her guide Natalia Subrtova. The two took an incredible four gold medals during the championships: women's giant slalom, super combined, downhill, and slalom. They also won a bronze medal in the team event.
