Stefanie Sun Yanzi (Chinese: 孫燕姿; pinyin: Sūn Yànzī; born Sng Ee Tze; 23 July 1978) is a Singaporean singer and songwriter. Known for her ballads and girl next door image, Sun made her debut with the album Yan Zi in 2000. Featuring the single "Cloudy Day", the album saw immediate success and sold over 330,000 copies in Taiwan and 200,000 copies in China. The album won her various accolades at regional award ceremonies, including the Golden Melody Award for Best New Artist. Sun's subsequent studio albums My Desired Happiness (2000) and Kite (2001) were also successful, with both selling over 300,000 copies in Taiwan. Her first three albums are all some of the best-selling records in Taiwan in the 21st century. Her compilation album The Moment (2003) sold over 1.5 million copies across Asia and produced the hit single "Encounter". Stefanie (2004) went on to sell over 2.2 million copies across Asia and won her another Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Female Singer. Nguyễn Thị Thiên Thanh (born October 24, 1981), better known by her stage name Tila Tequila, is an American model, singer, television and social media personality. She has also used the names Tila Nguyen, Miss Tila and Tornado Thien. Born in Singapore and raised in Houston, Texas, Tequila moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue her modeling career. She first gained recognition for her active presence on social networking websites. After being featured as a model in numerous men's magazines (including Playboy, Stuff and Maxim), she made her reality television debut on the VH1 show Surviving Nugent (2003). After becoming the most popular person on Myspace, Tequila was offered the opportunity to star in her own reality television series. Her bisexuality-themed dating show, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila (2007), aired for two seasons and became MTV's second-highest-rated series premiere of that year. In addition to her career in modeling and television, Tequila also pursued her career as a recording artist. She was the lead singer of the bands Beyond Betty Jean and Jealousy, before launching a solo career. Her debut single "I Love U" was released in 2007 to mixed reviews. Despite having strong online sales, the song failed to enter any charts. Tequila followed with several independently released singles, including "Stripper Friends" and "Paralyze". In 2010, she released her second EP, Welcome to the Dark Side. Wayne Lim Junjie (Chinese: 林俊傑; pinyin: Lín Jùnjié; born 27 March 1981), professionally known as JJ Lin, is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and businessman. One of the most successful artists in the Chinese-speaking world, Lin achieved recognition with his pop ballads, songwriting, and emotional vocal delivery. Lin signed to Ocean Butterflies International in 2002, and debuted with the album Music Voyager (2003). The record went on to sell over 1.2 million copies across Asia. His sophomore album, Haven (2004), was also a top-seller and produced the single "River South", which went on to receive significant popularity in Greater China. Cao Cao (2006) sold over 2 million copies across Asia, including over 200,000 copies in Taiwan. In March 2007, Lin established his own label and production company JFJ Productions. By 2008, each of his first five studio albums had sold over 1 million copies across Asia. He continued to experience commercial success with the release of She Says (2010), Lost N Found (2011), Stories Untold (2013), and Genesis (2014). His next album From M.E. to Myself (2015) produced the hit single "Twilight", while Message in a Bottle (2017) produced the single "Little Big Us".
