Boris Andreyevich Mikhailov or Borys Andriyovych Mykhailov (Ukrainian: Бори́с Андрі́йович Миха́йлов; born 25 August 1938) is a Ukrainian photographer. He has been awarded the Hasselblad Award and the Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize. and was also Shevchenko National Prize laureate of 2021.

2. Alexandre Michon (1858 - 1921)

With an HPI of 56.97, Alexandre Michon is the 2nd most famous Ukrainian Photographer.  His biography has been translated into 15 different languages.

Alexandre Mikhailovich Mishon (Russian: Александр Михайлович Мишон; 5 July 1858 – 5 July 1921) was a Russian photographer and cinematographer. Born to a French family in Kharkov, he started his career as a photographer and owned a photo studio in his hometown. He later settled in Baku (now Azerbaijan) and lived there for 25 years. Here, in 1898, he shot his first films using a Lumière cinematograph. Mishon is widely regarded as the pioneer of Azerbaijani cinema.

3. Weegee (1899 - 1968)

With an HPI of 56.60, Weegee is the 3rd most famous Ukrainian Photographer.  His biography has been translated into 25 different languages.

Ascher Fellig (June 12, 1899 – December 26, 1968), known by his pseudonym Weegee, was a photographer and photojournalist, known for his stark black and white street photography in New York City. Weegee worked in Manhattan's Lower East Side as a press photographer during the 1930s and 1940s and developed his signature style by following the city's emergency services and documenting their activity. Much of his work depicted unflinchingly realistic scenes of urban life, crime, injury and death. Weegee published photographic books and also worked in cinema, initially making his own short films and later collaborating with film directors such as Jack Donohue and Stanley Kubrick.

4. Maks Levin (1981 - 2022)

With an HPI of 42.16, Maks Levin is the 4th most famous Ukrainian Photographer.  His biography has been translated into 17 different languages.

Maksim Yevhenovych Levin (Ukrainian: Максим Євгенович Левін, romanized: Maksym Yevhenovych Levin; 7 July 1981 – c. 13 March 2022) was a Ukrainian photographer. He reported as a photojournalist from 2006, for LB.ua and Reuters among many others. He also provided photographs for international humanitarian organisations including UNICEF and World Health Organization. During a mission to document the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Kyiv Oblast, Levin was detained, interrogated, possibly tortured, and executed by Russian soldiers. His friend Oleksiy Chernyshov, who was accompanying him, was likely burned alive.
