1. Trevor Berbick (1954 - 2006)

With an HPI of 61.30, Trevor Berbick is the most famous Jamaican Boxer.  His biography has been translated into 27 different languages on wikipedia.

Trevor Berbick (1 August 1954 – 28 October 2006) was a Jamaican professional boxer who competed from 1976 to 2000. He won the WBC heavyweight title in 1986 by defeating Pinklon Thomas, then lost it in his first defense in the same year to Mike Tyson. Berbick was the last boxer to fight Muhammad Ali, defeating him in 1981 by unanimous decision. As an amateur, Berbick won a bronze medal in the heavyweight division at the 1975 Pan American Games. In both his early and late professional career he held the Canadian heavyweight title twice, from 1979 to 1986 and 1999 to 2001. Berbick is the only boxer to have fought Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, and Mike Tyson.

2. Mike McCallum (1956 - 2025)

With an HPI of 50.82, Mike McCallum is the 2nd most famous Jamaican Boxer.  His biography has been translated into 16 different languages.

Michael McKenzie McCallum (7 December 1956 – 31 May 2025) was a Jamaican professional boxer who competed from 1981 to 1997. He held world championships in three weight classes, including the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight title from 1984 to 1988, the WBA middleweight title from 1989 to 1991, and the World Boxing Council (WBC) light heavyweight title from 1994 to 1995. A slick, hard-hitting technician in the ring, McCallum was known for his exceptionally durable chin and toughness, and was never stopped in any of his five losses. He earned his nickname of "The Bodysnatcher" due to his ability to land vicious body punches in fights. McCallum was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2003. In 2011, The Ring magazine ranked him as eighth on their list of the "10 best middleweight title holders of the last 50 years." McCallum died in Las Vegas on 31 May 2025, at the age of 68.

3. Cheavon Clarke (b. 1990)

With an HPI of 19.55, Cheavon Clarke is the 3rd most famous Jamaican Boxer.  His biography has been translated into 8 different languages.

Cheavon Clarke (born 14 December 1990) is a Jamaican-British professional boxer. At regional level, he held the British cruiserweight title from 2024 to April 2025. As an amateur, he won a silver medal at the 2017 European Championships; and bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth and 2019 European Games.
